CVR
What is CVR?
On Amazon, Conversion Rate typically measures how many visitors to your product detail page actually make a purchase. It’s a key performance metric for evaluating listing quality, pricing, images, reviews, and offer competitiveness.
CVR formula:
CVR = (Orders ÷ Clicks) × 100%
Where CVR is used:
- Sponsored Ads performance analysis
- Listing optimization (A+ content, pricing, reviews)
- A/B testing for titles, images, and bullet points
Why it matters:
- A high CVR often means your product page is persuasive and aligned with customer expectations
- Amazon’s algorithm favors listings with better CVRs in search ranking and ad placement
- Poor CVR may indicate issues with your pricing, reviews, images, or shipping terms
💡 Example: If 500 people click on your ad and 25 of them place an order, your CVR is 5%.
In short:
CVR = Conversion Rate - the percentage of clicks that result in a purchase. It’s a core metric for understanding how well your Amazon listing converts traffic into sales.
