CXD

In Cross Docking (CXD), goods are received at a distribution facility but are not stored. Instead, they are quickly sorted and reloaded onto outbound trucks for final delivery to Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs). This method reduces handling time, lowers storage costs, and speeds up inventory flow.

Amazon uses CXD as part of its Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory strategies to streamline operations.
