AMZNCC
What is AMZNCC?
AMZNCC (Amazon Carton Content Code) is a unique identifier (barcode) generated in Vendor Central and placed on the outside of each shipping carton that a vendor sends to Amazon’s fulfillment centers.
Its purpose is to allow Amazon to quickly and accurately scan, receive, and route cartons within their logistics network - without opening them.
Each AMZNCC label contains:
- A unique Carton ID
- Information about what products and quantities are inside
- The link to the Vendor Central ASN (Advanced Shipment Notification)
Key points:
- Required for each carton in a vendor shipment
- Must be printed and applied using Amazon’s label specifications
- Helps Amazon process inbound shipments faster and more accurately
- Linked to the ASN (shipment manifest) that the vendor submits prior to delivery
If AMZNCC labels are missing or incorrect:
- It can lead to receiving delays, manual checks, or even chargebacks
- Amazon may reject the shipment or penalize the vendor under compliance metrics
It’s different from:
- FNSKU or ASIN labels (which go on individual products)
- Shipping labels (which go on pallets or master cartons)
In short:
AMZNCC = a required carton-level barcode label for vendors that tells Amazon exactly what’s inside each box.
