ARAP
What is ARAP?
Amazon Retail Analytics Premium (ARAP) was the enhanced, subscription-based version of Amazon’s Retail Analytics dashboard, available to 1P vendors through Vendor Central.
It expanded upon the standard ARA Basic by offering:
- Detailed traffic and glance view breakdowns
- Conversion rate trends
- Demographics and geographic sales data
- Path-to-purchase insights
- Comparison tools across ASINs, categories, and competitors
- Data filtering by fulfillment type, device, or region
ARAP was used heavily by:
- Enterprise vendors
- Brand managers and analysts
- Teams preparing for JBPs (Joint Business Plans)
However, Amazon has deprecated ARAP, gradually replacing it with more advanced tools and platforms such as:
- Brand Analytics (for Brand Registered 3P sellers)
- Retail Analytics Dashboards in Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC)
- Amazon Brand Analytics (ABA)
- Custom dashboards via Amazon Retail Analytics APIs
While ARAP no longer exists in its original form, many of its capabilities have been integrated into newer tools with improved UX and data access.
In short:
ARAP was a powerful premium analytics suite for vendors - now replaced by more modern, modular data tools inside Amazon’s ecosystem.
