CSM
What is CSM?
A Customer Success Manager (CSM) acts as a strategic advisor and point of contact for Amazon sellers or vendors, especially in premium support programs like AVS (Amazon Vendor Services) or third-party tools and agencies.
The CSM's role typically includes:
- Guiding brands through onboarding and growth
- Helping troubleshoot operational or catalog issues
- Offering best practices for advertising, inventory, or listing optimization
- Driving performance improvements and strategic planning
- Acting as a liaison between the brand and internal Amazon teams
Types of CSMs:
- At Amazon (within AVS or SAS Core programs)
- At SaaS providers, agencies, and aggregators that work with Amazon brands
💡 Example: A 1P vendor enrolled in AVS may be assigned a CSM to help boost sales by optimizing PDP content and improving fill rates.
In short:
CSM = Customer Success Manager - a dedicated expert helping Amazon sellers or vendors grow their business through support, strategy, and hands-on guidance.
