EFN
What is EFN?
The European Fulfilment Network (EFN) is part of Amazon’s Pan-European logistics infrastructure. It enables FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) sellers to list products across multiple European marketplaces (like Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, etc.) without storing inventory in each country.
Instead, sellers send stock to one local Amazon fulfillment center, and Amazon takes care of cross-border shipping whenever an order is placed in another EU country.
Benefits for sellers:
- Simplified logistics: Only ship to your local FC
- Wider reach: Sell across all Amazon EU sites
- Cost savings: Avoid storing inventory in multiple countries
- Prime eligibility: Products remain Prime-eligible across borders
Important notes:
- Sellers remain responsible for VAT registration and compliance in each country where they sell
- Shipping fees may vary depending on the destination country
- EFN works only within the EU (UK is no longer part of EFN post-Brexit)
💡 Example: A seller stores inventory in Germany. When a customer orders from France, Amazon ships it directly from Germany using EFN.
In short:
EFN = a program that lets FBA sellers store inventory in one EU country and fulfill customer orders across multiple European Amazon marketplaces, simplifying cross-border selling.
