EOD
What is EOD?
In the Amazon ecosystem - as in many business environments - EOD is a standard time reference that signifies when a task, report, shipment, or process should be completed by the close of business on that specific day.
Typical use cases at Amazon:
- Submission deadlines (e.g., “Submit the inventory reconciliation report by EOD”)
- Operational updates and syncs
- Performance reviews or escalation follow-ups
- Cut-off times for warehouse receiving, especially for Direct Fulfilment (DF) or FBA prep
EOD time may vary depending on time zone and team location, but generally refers to 17:00–18:00 local time unless specified otherwise.
💡 Example: “Please send the revised shipment plan to the Vendor Manager by EOD Friday.”
In short:
EOD = the end of the business day - a common deadline reference for completing Amazon-related tasks or communications.
