D2FC
What is D2FC?
Delivery-To-FC (D2FC) measures the quality and accuracy of inbound shipments sent to Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers (FCs). It reflects the portion of units that arrive with issues due to:
- Booking errors (e.g., unregistered shipments, incorrect ASN)
- Transit damages (e.g., broken packaging, mishandling)
- Labeling or documentation problems
📊 Formula:
D2FC = (Units with booking or transit defects) ÷ (Total units received)
Why it matters for sellers and vendors:
- A high D2FC rate can trigger chargebacks
- Repeated defects may affect vendor reliability scores
- Impacts in-stock rates and sell-through if goods are delayed or quarantined
💡 Example: If 500 units out of 10,000 received had booking/transit issues, D2FC = 5%.
In short:
D2FC tracks the percentage of defective units in inbound shipments to Amazon FCs - important for minimizing chargebacks and improving supply chain reliability.
